The leader of Morlocks for many years, Callisto ran afoul of the X-Men when she kidnapped Cyclops with the intent of making him her mate. She was challenged by Storm for leadership of the Morlocks and lost, although Storm later turned control back over to her. Callisto has recently been helping Professor X to rebuild Genosha and the two of them have hinted at feelings for each other, but nothing has come of it as of yet.

Callisto is inordinately ugly, and although she was once altered to be physically attractive, she later reverted to her natural repugnant state. She wears an eye patch over one eye, and her arms have been somehow replaced by twin masses of tentacles.
