Real Name: Jean Grey Summers

A mutant who possessed the superhuman powers of telepathy and telekinesis, Jean Grey eventually became one of the most powerful beings on the planet when she was chosen as a host for the Phoenix Force, a nigh-omnipotent alien being with unknown power limits. By channeling the Force's awesome powers, Grey was able to telekinetically manipulate matter at a molecular level, and upon reaching her full potential, Grey effectively became omniscient and omnipotent. Grey was killed by Xorn (who was masquerading as Magneto) when he struck her with a fatal electromagnetic pulse, and she chose to remain in the afterlife in order to prevent a possible future timeline in which the Sublime-controlled Beast attempted to conquer the world. Due to her connection to the Phoenix Force, Jean could theoretically return to life at any time.

Grey had red hair and green eyes. She was a former founding member of the X-Men and X-Factor, and one of the Twelve. Grey was Cyclops former wife, although they were estranged at the time of her death.
