Real Name: Peter Benjamin Parker.

After being bitten by a radioactive spider, Peter Parker quickly developed the proportionate strength, speed and agility of a spider and the ability to stick to any surface. He also received a precognitive “Spider-sense” that warns him of potential danger and ranges from a mild irritation to a sharp pain depending on the severity of the situation. Originally using his powers to gain fame as a wrestler and television performer, Parker failed to stop a burglar that had robbed the wrestling promoter that he worked for; returning home, he found that his Uncle Ben had been shot by the very same burglar. This taught Parker his personal credo- with great power comes great responsibility.

Parker built a pair of wrist-mounted spinnerets designed to project synthetic webbing and a number of small, spider-shaped tracking devices that allowed him to track anything they were attached to through his “Spider-sense”. He wears a costume designed to look like a spider complete with a belt containing spare web cartridges and a light in the buckle that could shine a spotlight designed to look like his mask. By combining the use of his Spider-sense with his enhanced speed and agility, Parker can easily avoid nearly any long range attack shot of wide-spread explosives directed towards him.

Parker has brown hair and eyes. He was raised in Queens, New York, and is currently based primarily out of Manhattan.

Parker is a current member of the Avengers. He is a freelance photographer for the Daily Bugle, a former teacher at Midtown High School, an on and off graduate student at Empire State University and a former employee of Tri-Corp; he also had a brief career as a novelty performer and a professional wrestler, and early in his career he sought membership in the Fantastic Four until he was told that the team was non-profit.
