From Cassius Comics

A team of mutant terrorists created by Magneto (Erik Lensherr) to oppose the X-Men, the original Brotherhood disbanded after Magneto and the Toad (Mortimer Toynbee) were abducted by the cosmic entity known as the Stranger.

This version of the team consisted of Astra (the mutant), the Blob, Magneto, Mastermind (Jason Wyngarde), Quicksilver, the Scarlet Witch and the Toad.

An unofficial second version of the team formed by the returning Magneto, but they were better known as Mutant Force.

Following the break up of Factor Three, the Brotherhood reformed, this time consisting of the Blob, Lorelei (the mutate), Magneto, Mastermind and Unus the Untouchable.

Following that team's disbanding, the Brotherhood was reformed once again, this time led by Mystique. This incarnation eventually accepted an offer of amnesty, in exchange becoming the government-sponsored Freedom Force.

This Brotherhood consisted of Avalanche (Dominic Petros), the Blob, Destiny (Irene Adler), Mystique, Pyro and Rogue (Anna Marie).

Yet another Brotherhood was soon created, this time consisting of the Blob, Phantazia, Pyro, Sauron, Thornn (Lucia Callasantos) and the Toad.

Other incarnations of the team have since been created, but they have all chosen to stop referring to themselves as "evil", renaming the group simply "the Brotherhood of Mutants"
